    Asia (KR) server should add a new network sub-server in Taiwan to reduce the load of KR server and improve the response speed of network server and the stability of network quality!

    EU servers should add new network sub-servers in Eastern Europe to reduce the load on EU servers and improve the response speed of network servers and the stability of the network!

The Asia (KR) server has extremely high latency and is very unreliable and unstable. The following suggestions should be followed to increase the number of network sub-servers in each continent and the high-speed and stable quality of the network, and strengthen the defense against DDos traffic attacks and traffic cleaning.

DDoS protection (1) multi-layer protection mechanism

easiest fix would be to block korean IPs while fixing the source

really, your best solution is to just connect to EU or NA, because you’re going to have the same lag most of the time regardless.

There aren’t a lot of Asia players, and matchmaking is global, as is the Custom Games list. Either you or everyone else is going to experience high pings whenever you play because there aren’t enough KR/Asia players to match against each other.

Sorry, there are a lot of players on the Asian server (KR). There are more than 670 Taiwanese players in my Discord voice group alone, and Asian players usually play custom maps!
And the problem these days is the zombie fake room that can’t be cleared on the custom game list, not the matchmaking of the Warcraft III RTS real-time strategy battle…

As I stated, the Custom Game list is global. You can see all games regardless of which region you connect from. Matchmaking is global as well, and what usually ends up happening is whenever an Asia player queues, people in the other regions get matched to them and experience 200-300+ pings (and of course, sometimes it’s the other way around, but in either case, somebody has to put up with bad pings).

Anyway, the point is, this is just a consequence of the Asia server being far removed from the other gateways- regardless of what game mode you play.
