I put the key code for Warcraft 3 into the webpage, the game isn’t showing that I own it in the battle.net launcher nor can I install it from the website.

It might be set to hidden in BNet game panel. IIRC you right click it to see the list. You should have Reforged in the list. If you only own WCIII original, you now install reforged instead, and can only use the Classic part of Reforged package. Congratulations on your ruined childhood.
If it does not appear in BNet launcher at all, you need to contact the support.
