It's not acceptable to say "it'll be fixed later"

To be completely honest i’m tired of these multi million dollar companies releasing obviously incomplete, unpolished products. I’m actually done with pre-ordering games out of face value.

The only people I feel for are those who want to play WC3 Classic but are forced to input their product code and update. Everyone else can either refund or sod off. You don’t get to say what is and isn’t acceptable, the market does. Don’t like it? Don’t buy it. Or try and take them to court and let us know how it goes.

Car brakes aren’t computer software. Maybe if you said “imagine if they thought it acceptable for the car’s navigation software to work 20% of the time”.

Imagine if a navigation software company thought it was acceptable to have their navigation software not working 20% of the time.

If the game is bull of bugs, then it would have stayed Beta. With the campaign. Only realase the game officially when it is 100% ready.

And maybe remaking the maps? With more roads and more hidden items? More heroes, maybe? And abilities? Think about the early alpha version in 2001 when Banshee and Troll Doc had unique abilities? Now they have useless ones. And PoTm should get another good ability instead of the useless owl.

Some people want Warcraft 4. So you shoould polish the game more.

I can’t believe the developers don’t feel shame for releasing something unfinished with their name on it. It’s deeply unethical.

I have to toast one for the Japanese to have the better corporate culture about some things such as that. That’s more or less the same exact way with them and making automobiles.

This project was a failure before it even got started. Up-ressing the original is one thing, but what sort of idiot thought it was a good idea to rework a 20 year old engine? Either do a simple remaster of the original and sell it for cheap, maybe improving the UI and adding some content, or just make a new freaking game in a modern engine.

I’ve never heard of any other developer try to put modern assets in to an ancient engine. I’m talking modern assets that are totally incompatible with the original. This is totally different from StarCraft Remaster and all other remasters, because all they did was replace low-resolution sprites/textures with higher resolution ones. SC has no lighting, 3D environments, or animations. If you know even a little bit about game dev you should know that this project was doomed from concept. And you then hedge your bets with this backwards-compatibility nonsense? Who exactly were you making this game for? It can’t be current WC3 players because you butchered the original and shut down Bnet. It can’t be normal gamers and Warcraft fans because they want a new game, not 20 year old trash gameplay that has been available for many years.
