In the first few levels of the human campaign, the children are invulnerable, and while I normally roleplay Arthas as a violent murderer of the innocent as soon as possible because we all know deep down that’s just who he is, but in only a few levels further, you’re able to murder children which isn’t normally something you are permitted to do in any video game. Suddenly the game is going to be branded as AO by ESRB unless they update the game to make it impossible to kill children.
Oh and Jaina can do it too, as can footmen, and basically any controllable unit.
Oh no, that’s intended.
They also removed the Dryad’s unit response when you click on it too many times. You know, the one where she talked about her “human” mating call.
I know there are other forms of censorship in this new game. I distinctly recall “god dammit” or something like that being removed from one of the early RoC Undead campaign levels.
I forgot that killing children is China’s specialty, as if Arthas were a tank and the children are students at a place of learning in protest for a better world.
Almost forgot that blizzard the US company bows to their Chinese overlords for whatever censorship they desire; except for killing kids of course.
