Is there a way to get -nativefullscr effect in WC3 now? (getting lag in fullscreen, doesn't feel like true/native fullscreen)

It’s smooth in Windowed so it doesn’t seem to be a graphics problem unless fullscreen changes your graphics. What are people who once used -nativefullscr doing now to make the game feel normal?

Can it actually be fixed?

As far as I’m aware it’s all Windowed mode made to look as if it’s Fullscreen courtesy of Dx12 that does not support true Fullscreen anymore hats off to Microsoft

Nope Dx11, well then… Fullscreen should be supported. I don’t know how you intend on going about it
I think Blizzard dropped Fullscreen support in order to streamline Dx11 and Dx12.

I don’t get why it works in Windowed. You mean only DX11+/new gfx cards can properly draw fake fullscreen and that’s all there is, but Windowed doesn’t have that problem?

No, I mean Dx11 supports true Fullscreen, Dx12 emulates Fullscreen.
I don’t know why you would have performance issues in Fullscreen mode.

It is possible that since Blizzard has chosen Dx12 going forward that they also use those standards (even if in Dx11) and that may affect Fullscreen performance(?). Though I find that hard to believe as I uncapped my fps earlier and it’s a nice 180fps in a match/240fps in the lobby… Can hardly complain about that.

How did you uncap your FPS? I did DXDiag and it says I’m on DX12, is there a way to fix that (emulated fullscreen) or run something else? Just wondering how you uncapped/fixed yours since you know your stuff, are you running DX11? Thanks
