Currently this company releases updates as sequels (see Overwatch 2). They think they are onto something I guess.

Why is it that when I need to update it says waiting for other updates and its like I have to wait till the next day for it to actually download the update from blizzard?

Yes, I just played and got Victory and reduction of the MMR.
Also the stats in my profile are still not fixed, they claimed the games are being properly recorded but the games I won and got defeat still count as loses 
Nothing has changed
LoL same story here. Just played got a V and bnet awarded me with a minus 23 MMR.
