This had to be planned. No way could a company be this incompetent. Blizzard’s doing what EA did with SWBF2. Release a crap game to get people talking, great for marketing and tons of publicity, and then fix it after its had enough attention, then selling retail price dlc when its fixed counterpart gets its reviews flipped from bad to good

I thought about this too. They get a lot of bad publicity for free. Not sure how it’s working out since the majority seem to be Refunding and I am too, after I see how bad next patch is. The community is way too abusive and toxic while in-game it’s dead, about as alive as Classic Wc3 was after they butchered it.
Whatever their horrible plan is (which may or may not be that), it backfired

These types of threads make me roll my eyes so hard they almost fall out of their sockets.
No one ‘plans’ for games to release in a bad state. That implies a level of malicious cruelty toward fans, and no one, not even EA does that. Do they always meet expectations? No. Do they screw up on occasion? Yes, but none of it is done ‘on purpose’.
Next thing you’ll tell me is that the sky is orange because someone on the internet said it, so it must be true.

This is correct, although the lack of attention and ability to follow through was indeed done on purpose for other reasons like saving money and lack of care, but definitely not done for profit on purpose.
We have to be mad at the right thing here. An extreme lack of care that easily could have been avoided with a different spoken word here or there, for one of the foundations that brought many people into loving, buying from, and there’s a good chance, to start working at this company.
And they’re still doing it by telling us what we should deal with, implying our expectations are at fault when they false advertise and continue to do so without shame or worry. This is the direct way to know that they don’t care about you, and never will ever again.
There’s only one way to fix it. Re-separate the old client, remake the game into what was promised. Even then people won’t be happy, as that should have been done in the FIRST PLACE. So even if fixed, the damage is done.

U don’t have to be mad. U can easily refund and go to another games. Or if u didn’t buy there even less point to be mad. Hatred make no sense.
This is 50/50. In 2019 they took back their promises so u can’t say they fooled u. It’s not their guilt some fans didn’t follow the game news.
Not gonna happen. They already announced there won’t be engine or cutscenes changes. They will fix the bugs, add missed features and mb some other stuff but not major changes like someone expects.

This is such a weak argument. The moment they announced game in 2018 neither me, you or developer knew how will final product look like.
