I have the classic version/ graphics too, and many of the ambient mobs (not sure exactly which since I can’t see them…) are invisible and untargetable by me. My units can still attack them though so it’s not completely unplayable. Currently doing TFT night elf campaign so haven’t tested anything else.
Running on Windows 11 laptop PC, AMD cpu and nvidia graphics (4070).

I just started the Frozen Throne campaign in classic mode and noticed the same issue. After loading a save game, some units (both friendly and hostile) become invisible and unselectable.

I have the same issue.
Maybe Blizzard pushes us to git gud, so we should not rely on saves and make it through every mission in one go.
Well, it seems that it’s better to download old not reforged version from torrents.
It’s kinda sad that people with payed “supported” version have much more problems than people with pirated version.

Issue is still here. Game unplayable, especially the campaign

found workaround. You need to enable reforged graphics (by one slider) and in reforged menu disable it back separately by several (6-8 or so) sliders.
In such case all or almost all units will be visible even after load of saved game and it will be almost not reforged version.
With some reforged parts, yes, but mostly not reforged and with visible units.
I’d like to add that this issue has occurred in the 2-player campaign remake (the custom campaign by spoon), so might extend to custom maps also. Perhaps relating to the specific assets used in the campaign maps. I believe that
Thanks to those above for clarifying that the issue is exacerbated on save/load and that it’s mostly creeps/summons. This mirrors my experience, using the classic graphics (not HD). I have noticed that many units are without models (and therefore untargetable) even on the first load of the map.
Unfortunately using reforged graphics is not an option for me (nor of interest), because I don’t own reforged. It would be really great to see this fixed.

This issue only appears in the classic graphics. And I am not paying for reforged. Who would pay a cent to a company that doesn’t give a shi to you? lol.

Have the same issue, models disappeared, only shadows, not targetable. Happens after loading a saved game. Glad I ran into this thread only to see that after so many months theres not even a response from blizz.

I keep having this issue in the classic campaign. I am also having issues with the Reforged campaign and poor performance with my high-end pc(ryzen cpu and setting core affinity can fix but also causes it to crash like crazy). I cannot understand why they are not working on making this game playable 100%. Makes me sad.

I have had this problem aswell. The only way i have been able to fix it is by restarting the mission. If i load a save, it will make some units invisible and unselectable. Basically meaning i am not allowed to stop mid-way through the mission, and have to do it in one go. Which can be really annoying. Hopefully they will fix it in the next year… But i doubt it.

Seems to be still happening very frequently after loading a save. Might have to go back to original disc version to do Founding of Durotar xD

Adding to this that the TFT Orc Bonus Campaign /w Rexxar does map reloads each time the player moves area. The invisible models bug appears when that happens, so it is unavoidable in that campaign.
