I remembered these clouds for life … (from the original), but why change them? They were perfect, they made the overall atmosphere even more epic, gloomy, more serious, dark … Next, lightning … In the original, they sparkled so that all the clouds behind them flashed, that is, lightning and its lighting interacted with the brightness of the cloud, it was epic, peals of thunder, there were many of them, their sound was beautiful, they sounded so often that they made the viewer have no doubt that it was just super dark and epic, and what do we have in the end? Lightning flashes, but there is no interaction, there are no sounds of thunder roll, and the sound of lightning itself is so-so, at the level of cheap effects, clouds are not illuminated by them, thunder does not sound so often, and even lightning flashes much less (reconsider the moment when the orc growls and you will understand what I mean). All these missteps no longer make you think that this is a super epic and gloomy atmosphere, it rather makes you think that this is just another kind of trailer, unremarkable and no different from the others, although in the original every cinematic was with its own atmosphere, and in its unique and gorgeous. For which I have always loved warcraft 3, this is for its gorgeous cinematics, for their atmosphericity, gloominess, for their style, and the introductory cinematic was my favorite, because it showed the whole essence of warcraft 3, this video shouted " I am the darkest, most epic and mysterious game. How people care to complain about everything so much, is beyond me. It’s already done. What good did you hope to achieve with this rant? They hardly are going to edit it anymore. The artists worked hard on this and I think they did what they thought was best.
If you ask me, they managed to pull it off. I would get the complaint if it was clearly done without care and commitment, but to complain about some clouds looking a bit different? Yeah, I didn’t even read any further than that, but c’mon…
I don’t know about you, but after watching the original cinematic, and then immediately after that the Reforged one, I was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by my brain (thanks, brain!) to watch it as if it had been my first time. And it was glorious.

The sheer power of the Grunt’s strikes against the Footman was lost on me when I could not tell what was going on on the screen in the original.

The perfect mirror of the water that is revealed to be a mirror is amazing and trippy.

The winds that move the waves of grass around the fighters are far more pronounced than in the original, and that’s gorgeous and atmospheric, it shows how insignificant that flurry of their attacks were.

The droplet! I actually never understood it in the original. Now, with the Reforged graphics, I can see that its heaviness might symbolize the inevitability of the burning shadow’s invasion.

The Infernal! If you successfully forget the last 16 years, it does look horrifying and awesome compared to the puny mortals.

The rain! The rain at the end equals a lot of droplets! In Reforged, it’s again far more visible, and it means the rain of Infernals! The reign of chaos!

It’s not. To me, it looks quite amazing. The terrain hasn’t been worked on, and some units do look off (Tauren, Bat Riders), but that will be fixed in time.
It looks good, just leave it alone. Nitpickers and no fun police are just the worst
Jaina and Uther stood out to me as the worst looking heroes from the trailer, but all the units were off and the colors were just ugh
Even the Rifles? The Rifles looked perfect, imo.
I’ve read a couple of your comments and I’ve got the feeling that nothing’s really going to satisfy you and you would just keep complaining about something always, which all seems like quite childish and naive to me, so I’m going to just try ignoring you from now on. There’s always the SD for you, if everything is so horrible about Reforged.
What’s SD, by the way? Clearly not the Sicherheitsdienst.
It’s the term Blizzard uses for the classic version. Comes from words Standard Definition.
