When I try to create a custom game I am automatically kicked out.
- Custom Games
- Create
- choose Game Name and pick a map (bandit ridge for example, just a normal melee map)
- Create
- Game hangs for a few seconds then I am kicked to the Custom Games list. The chat reads "Joined ; left "
I do not have a problem joining others’ custom games from the list.

Same problem here since the release day, I have tried running the Scan and Repair option for the game from the Battle.net and still no change. Its been over two weeks I still can’t create a custom game, either private or public. This issue is getting really annoying.

I just figured it out how to fix it, uninstall Warcraft 3 and then delete your install folder named “Warcraft III”, typically that would be “C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III” if you used the default install location. Then from the battle.net app reinstall the game (if you prefer the manual exe installer, that can be found here Downloads – Blizzard Entertainment ).
In my situation, it had created a duplicate Warcraft III folder Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\Warcraft III when the Reforged version was released and my origonal install was updated. It left the older version in the parent folder here Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III. I backed up the old parent folder, just so I could keep the old version of the game around and then uninstalled, deleted the Warcraft III folder and reinstalled. Another sign of the issue was I had duplicate map folders when creating a custom game.
