Illidan`s design. (Not as in WoW or HoTS )

I say this with respect. But is what I see. :slight_smile:

I don`t like how Illidan looks in WoW. His face looks very ugly and also very old. That appearance remove the good impression he transmitted in Warcraft 3. Besides, it seems to me in WoW he looks too thick.

The designers should make him a more stylized and young body.
That his body be a bit thinner. But muscular at the same time. And his face younger and attractive. So he will radiates his characteristic personality that he had in Warcraft 3. That outstanding presence that gave him a totally imposing and engaging charisma.

I really would like you give him the care and attention he deserves.

And make the best design to date. :wink:

*(Even in Heroes of The Storm he does not look as good as he should. He still looks a little thick and old.)

This face looks amazing. It is my favorite. From that profile he looks great. Has a very well physiognomy and he does not look old:

Yes, I agree Illidan was great in Warcraft 3 and had some special charisma and while i wanted Illidan’s Redemption Story to be good in WoW it just made him worse and he became a MEME with his “YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!!!” overused phrase. Also the model realy looks bad. What is wrong with his teeth anyway?

I don’t know about that. I think that he should look more like Aaron Eckhart, though. That guy is basically a shoe-in for the role.

Night Elves do not age in warcraft 3. By the way, anyone knows if Illidan lost his immortality when the world tree got destroyed? I think he was still immortal because of him becoming a demon

Exactly they do not age. After Warcraft 3 they made him look very old. And he should always look the same. I do not know why developers started to neglect Illidan. They took away all that personality he had before. It is really sad.

And about whether he lost his immortality, I think he did not, for the same reason you say. But I’m not entirely sure. Either way, elves should age slower than humans and other creatures.

Agree with literally everything.
In addition - the tattoo color scheme is extremely important… they were dark blue in original W3! In their new modernized Metamorphosis they can light them up in green fel-fire, hell, that would make the transformation even more eyecandy… as opposed to having them bright-green all the time.
The slick young Illidan of W3 is the most charismatic anti-hero ever. Keep him that way.

Since, in Warcraft lore, Illidan uses the Blades of Azzinoth (used? since he stopped using them or at least the model for them in 7.2 of World of Warcraft) it’s likely his unique campaign model’s gonna rock those rather than the nameless, plainer warglaives.

What about his metamorphosis I think that was done a lot better in the original warcraft 3 as well it should be all black anymore but rather a have the same tall giant like stature with illidans skin color and wings not simply a dark illidan with wings like we see in warcraft
