I want play alone… I can’t… why? Or maybe I don’t know why…? Someone can explain me that?

Go to custom games, create a game, choose map, give the lobby a name, add computers and play. Playing alone/vs AI is an online thing now

and if you have latency issues like me, then log out before doing all that.

Edit: assuming the best there could be an issue with custom games save and blizzard waiting to fix that before they release single player with custom campaign.

assuming the worse, they are going all out online service because

  • that how they counter pirated copies of the game.
  • They are preventing me from doing something stupid to the game that lower the experience blizzard sat for me :joy:
  • Protecting me from hackers.

if blizzard confirm single player sessions are not coming back i will freaking refund right away, or try to.

Single player is doable, there is just NO single player mode. You just gotta create one like Festerhowl mentioned.

I’d like to mention I’ve been playing offline, so the features are there, just annoying as hell recreating every session.

You just got to make sure you’re properly logged in once after installing, and keep patch up to date. After that, you can go offline, it’ll prompt error network messages, but you can just esc/close them.

Edit:Clarify: No single player mode - single player and online has been merged. So now it’s just “game mode”, vs single/local/bnet

It is possible to play offline. However, what I really want is the normal single player experience. Even in offline mode, the games are treated as though they were online.

First, you still have to choose a name for the lobby. And a player name.
Then while playing, there are limited pauses. No options to Load or Save the game. No option to restart. Etc. None of which makes sense when playing alone. Everything that made the single player experience enjoyable has been stripped away.

Please give me the option to play as before. I don’t want this shunted version of WC3. I want the one I paid for.

BLIZZARD:
PLEASE GIVE US BACK A SINGLE PLAYER MODE THAT ALLOWS SAVE AND LOAD OPTIONS. This was a staple of Warcraft III.

“oh no, Pirates are going to steal the Gamez buah!!!” These 2020 company policies are killing me. Like people won’t pirate this anyways. Please give us BACK our single player. It’s not like you deleted that part of the game code… Or did you?

Can only do that with Campaign now.
