I want to say to myself: “The era of great play and great company is coming to an end, I am grateful to Blizzard for past games, but as the Kings said, they don’t rule forever… and it’s very sad”

Modern blizzard has never been the blizzard that created the games we all loved. They were and always will be, just the corporate cash grabbers theyve always been, riding off the coat tails of what was an epic game company, long ago, called blizzard north.

The era of Blizzard that made Warcraft 3 actually ended years ago.
To be fair Blizzard North was only responsible for Diablo(and the game they originally wanted to make was quite a bit different from what we got).
Irvine still brought us the Warcraft and Starcraft RTS games, and the early days of World of Warcraft.
sadly nowadays ACTIVISIONblizzard makes games at the basis of “how mush money will this make us”. instead of “how fun will this game be” or “how good will our fans think it is”
just like some random legend on the internet said :“god i miss the days when games were made by nerds and not by businessmen”:

It’s why I cancelled by sub to WoW and waiting for the reviews of this one.
I enjoyed WC3.
It’s not over yet. Diablo 4 could save it. If it doesn’t then goodbye Blizzard.
60-70% that they will destroy the Diablo series … Something I feel like …
