You don’t have to purchase WC3 again. If you owned a copy of the original Reign of Chaos, you can play the Classic mode in Reforged. If you haven’t already, you must link your RoC game key to your Battlenet account.

Some people who have not purchased Warcraft 3: Reforged are finding that with the update, they can’t get into the game at all, not even to play Classic mode.
