I can't join games made by another player.

Hello,

I have recently bought wc3 and tft but I can only join games made by bots … I wanted to play with my brother but when he or I make a game, we can see each other game but we both can’t join …

Is it possible to fix that ?

probably ports problem, thought it was improved in this year patches ?

You’ll have to open port 6112 (by default) on the PC who hosts the game. (on internet box router config)

You can use bots to host
or open port 6112 if you don’t want to use bots

i’m having the same issue with my friend, we did everything we could find (firewall was the main message that poped up) in the end we decided to wait for remake to come since that will be looked after and updated on these things.

you would need to go into your router and portforward 6112-6119 on TCP & UDP to guarantee that you can host personally. however from the looks of it in patch 1.30.2 they are adding blizzard hosting methods. Until then MakeMeHost (google it) is the easiest option to host as every other bot does not work.

If you really want to play, you could use Hamachi+lancraft I recently played with a friend and worked good, even cross-platform(he was in mac, I was in windows)
