After more than 1 month with a broken Mac version… I’m happy to tell you that I can know finally play the game again !!
Here are the step I followed to make it happen :
- Go to the street
- Find a shop that sells laptop running on Windows
- Buy a laptop
- Go back to home
- Turn the laptop ON
- Install Bnet launcher
- Login to Bnet launch and download Warcraft III Reforged
- Active the “Classic” version
- Open the game
- PLAY
(sorry guys)

maybe you shouldn’t post a deliberate troll thread in tech support where people would be actively looking for help

There’s no trolling here, just follow those steps and you’ll be able to play the game again.
Btw, I’m a Mac user.
Please let me be ironic in such a ridiculous situation where I can’t even play a game I paid and love.
Cheers,

You can always refund it to express your displeasure. No matter how many hours you put in.
But yes, making a thread with a title saying you can run the game again and then it turns out your solution is “get a PC”, absolutely is trolling. People will click on the thread thinking you have an actual solution.
You right it’s a terrible trolling, I hope nobody will try to kill himself after opening my thread and realizing it’s just a joke.
Btw, many are asking refund and don’t get any answer from Blizzard.
You’re not going to get an answer on the weekend. I’ve never not gotten an answer from support. Sometimes it takes a while and oftentimes its not the answer I want, but they do answer eventually.
It also helps to not nerd rage at the support person, writing a calm but firm message is far more likely to get a response. if people post the same kind of gamer rage they post in this forum and I was the support person, I wouldn’t want to help them either. The support staff didn’t make the game, thus they shouldn’t be treated with the same kind of disrespect.
You’ve to be kidding me, right?
Are you really talking about “respect” while they didnt give any news in the last 30+ days, not even a single update message?
If being a (choose your 4 letter word) got results we would have gotten them a long time ago.
Treating people, especially people who work in support and QA and have NO IDEA what’s going on on the software development side, with respect is the right thing to do. They didn’t make the game, they’re just reading and answering your tickets/calls and following the script their employer trained them on. That human being on the other end doesn’t deserve your unbridled rage.
Work in a call center for one single day and you’ll understand.
By all means, rage at Blizzard/Activision/Microsoft/Playside here on the forums. But when you’re talking to a CS rep, and act like a butt, you represent the reason why nobody wants to work in tech support. Even at other companies that care more about their products, the abuse support personnel have to take sometimes is horrifying. It really takes a special person, even more special than the jerkwad who called yelling and screaming demands through the mouthpiece/email/chat, to work customer support without losing all sanity.
I have gotten way more out of many companies by not abusing the call center rep than I ever did out of yelling at them.
I’m not telling you not to be angry/upset. You should be. But reserve that unbridled rage for social media.

Oh, really? Are you sure about that? Did you personally ask for a refund to confirm?
No, I got it from Arcitct, a (normally) reliable source on these forums, given they worked on the game at one time. You don’t have to be a jerk, you know.
Why would I ask for a refund myself? I’m on Windows and am able to play. Even when i heard this information, the implication was specifically that Mac users who couldn’t play could do this.
