Im fairly new to W3, me and one friend play a lot of 1v1 against each other, I mainly go rifle caster and he normaly goes grunt/raider/spirit walker. Obviously we I get into the situation were his unit that I’m currently focus firing is both slowed by my sorcs and spirit linked by his spirit walkers at the same time. I’m reluctant to dispel it with my priests since it takes the slow of normally allowing him to easily retreat the injured unit. Dispel also takes of slow of surrounding orc units and recasting all that slow is expensive.
I don’t normally use spell breakers but i’m wondering if its worth it to take 1 or 2 breakers into the fight just to manual cast spell steal on the unit that i’m focus firing thereby not dispelling any of my own slows. And i guess when they’re not doing that they can just burn mana of his heroes. Or is care full priest dispelling the way to go. Or should I just not bother to dispel it and push through it with focused rifle/caster right click (that’s what i’m doing at the moment and it works most of the time).
