Hello, many people here have been looking for a solution to the connection problem with custom multiplayer games. I also experienced these issues until I managed to fix them. I’ll share the steps I took to resolve this problem successfully.
The basic steps are to update the game and use the battle.net app to repair it. If this doesn’t solve the issue, follow the steps I’m about to explain.
You need to disable applications like Radmin, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, and torrent clients, as they may cause network port conflicts. The second step is to go to your network connections. Open the Start menu and type “Network Connection,” then click on “View network connections” from the Control Panel. There, you will find your Ethernet connections. Identify which one is used for your internet and keep only that one active. You can right-click on the others and select “Disable.”
This might already resolve your in-game connection issues. But if it doesn’t, you will need to configure Port Triggering on your modem.
Look up how to configure your home modem and apply these settings:
TCP Ports 6112-6114
- External Start Port: 6112
- External End Port: 6114
- Internal Start Port: 6112
- Internal End Port: 6114

- External Start Port: 6112
- External End Port: 6114
