Hi guys, just wondering how does Blizzard devs balance the game?
Is it through complaints or do they actually have game testers these days anyway?
Is there going to be further updates to WC3 Reforged?
step 1 - remove all original developers that helped create blizzard and wc3, and replace the original creators credits in the game with the image of a purple haired girl
step 2 - replace all textures with skins based on WoW, add unecessary female skins to characters that were not originally in the game and have no purpose in the story
step 3 - advertise enhanced features, then scrap them all at the last minute without telling anybody just to piss off all your fans
step 4 - increase the DPS value of tier 1 units so new players can have an easier time
step 5 - sell a bunch of digital outfits and character skins for other blizzard games (like wow/sc2/ow etc) by forcing fans of those other games into purchasing WC3 just to get more sales out of nothing
step 6 - make massive amounts of profits while actually making the game worse by removing many features it originally had, then selling things back in DLC and skin packs
and the sad part is some people are actually asking for more skins so they can give activision even more money lol… thats how they balanced reforged

That’s the actual truth that people are ignoring. I’m playing WC3 since 2003 and I’m really sad of what this game and company became.

I still play the game occasionally against the AI in Skirmish mode, it is still okay I can beat the AI but anyone else do the same?
The game is still playable I think, so what more do players want?

the AI in wc3 is pretty bad and its a shame they didnt improve it very much with Reforged, personally I can win a 1 vs 3 comps on insane, and theres videos on youtube of people beating over 10 comps at once

The AI can be a beast sometimes if you play building of a proper army without harassing them early on. Yes I know sometimes you can use Orcs for example to harass early with Summons to throw the AI off.
But if you let the AI build up, it can be tough on big maps.
the bigger the map the easier it is to beat mutiple computers since you can just mass expo, like I said I can win a 1v3 computers and I dont do it by rushing or harassing, I do it by mass expoing and I actually wait until after the gold mines are empty before finishing the game
what it really comes down to is whether or not you want to use towers, since placing a few towers can really cause the AI to mess up and start running in circlers
if I can win a 1v3 i would not call them “beast” they just get a lot more gold then you
if you want to learn how to improve I do give lessons, and I recommend checking out custom hotkeys, makes things a lot easier
I beat the insane AI before as well, so no I do not really need lessons, I am quite comfortable with what I know for now.
well I dont know why you would continue playing against AI then, i mean i dont know if you ever beat a 1v2 or a 1v3 but if u can win a 1v1 against AI then why not start playing against real people? doesnt the AI get boring??
When Reforged first came out, I tried Multiplayer with Random 3v3 games. I prefer team games for Multiplayer.
What I want to know is Blizzard still pumping out balance patches? If there are new changes then I play again, if not I just load the game up once in a while for a Skirmish with the AI.
yes there is several pages of notes detailing the next patch, pretty sure theres a link in the blizzard app that brings you a page detailing the next big patch featuring ranking ladder and clans
you previously claimed that the AI was “beast” which is why I offered to help you improve at the game, I mean you say you prefer team games but its kinda unfair to your teammates if you struggle against the AI
I bet I could help you be able to beat a 1v2 AI easily if you just took an hour or 2 to learn a few tricks
Well thanks for the offer, but I am busy playing Star Wars Squadrons and Mechwarrior Online these days… if there are new Balance patches then I might get into the game again!
thats cool but you are looking at it wrong, the current patch has no official ranking system and theres a lot more newbs playing right now since pro players are playing on private servers
once the new patch releases then you will be playing with ranked players and all the current newbs wont be newbs anymore
now is your chance to get easy wins without competition (i know it sounds weird, but im speaking the truth lol the game is kinda broken without the ranking system but its good for casual players)

Yes I have read the developer update on the Battle Net App, it is not suppose to be a balance patch I know, so like I said if there are new balance changes in the future, then I have some interest in the game again, for now I am playing other games…
no thats not true though, the next patch will have balance changes just like every single other patch… we just had a patch a few weeks ago with balance changes but that was a minor patch… the next patch will be much bigger, but its not like we havent had any balance changes in the past few months, they happen every few weeks
it doesnt make sense why you are so concerned about balance when you should be taking advantage of the non-ranked player base right now since theres a lot of newbs on bnet currently, and that might change after the next patch… balance isnt even that big of an issue unless your a high ranked player lol

Wow you sound like a Doctor or Lawyer, but basically I want to test the game again only if there is some form of new balance to allow me to try new ways of playing. I mean small balance changes are okay if there are no big noticeable changes, so no point in over testing.
I prefer team games on Multiplayer and have won quite a few 3v3 games for Classic and a few games for Reforged when it first came out, I bought the base game when it first came out. I am not claiming to be a good player, maybe just average and have no serious aspiration to do very much better, like say like you to take on 2 AI at the same time…
Thank you for your replies, it is nice to know people still play this game and are trying to be better. Perhaps you should try and make better use of time teaching other newbs that are on B-net currently that are willing to learn from you, do not spend any more time on me, I feel fine the way I am.
you are here though, discussing the game, in the time we just chatted i coulda shown you some stuff and we coulda had some fun playing some games together… o well, I play with plenty of other people online too
