I have a custom model I textured. When I import my custom .dds texture file into the asset manager I’m not sure how to apply it to my custom model. How do I do this? Thanks
If you open up existing mdx files, they all have texture paths defined in them. I think you just need to set the path to your textures from your mdx file, and then change your texture path in asset manager to match up.
I haven’t gotten this far so take this with a grain of salt… but having poked around a bit this seems to be how that works.
Another thing you could do is just pull down a few custom maps, open them up and see what other people are doing.
Thanks I figured it out. You have to set the path in whatever model editor you use before you export to .mdx
