Hello, my dad and I used to play Warcraft 3 way back in the day and we decided to start playing again together in reforged. However we have barely an idea what we’re doing anymore and all we want to do is play on a team together against some computers. Is it not possible for he and I to be on a team and fight some AI? We aren’t able to play matchmaking, they always seem to put us against people who have been playing a long time.

PS if there’s also a easy way to play games with players who are pretty new that would be nice too.

you may do that by go to custom games >> create a game >> press on free slots to add players or AI (you will find “Invite to Game”) then select your dad account from that list…

Okay, but by doing that can he and I also be on a team? It didn’t look like there was a way to set up being on a team in the custom game startup menu, and I remember not being able to click anything in the Ally box in-game.

Yes you can. When you open a custom game lobby you can set you and your dad on one team and put the AI on another team. It’s pretty straightfoward, you just have to set the team numbers right beside your nick. You and your dad stay on team 2, for example, and you put the AI’s on team 4 or 1 or 3 or 6, whatever.
