Hosting Custom Game Lobby Improvements

Its frustrating hosting games sometimes, as the window covers chat and moves slowly. I wish hosting a game (or searching RT) didnt prevent us from being able to use the chat channels. And the settings we chose for hosting custom games are hidden under advanced, why not move those options to the pregame-lobby screen?

We should be able to change settings in the Lobby screen before starting the game, without closing the lobby. We should be able to host a Private Custom Game Lobby so our friends can join, then we should be able to change the setting from private to public so that others can join. We should even be able to change the map, or settings for fog of war, observers, heros etc. without closing the lobby or rehosting

It would be nice if we could type the name of a map into a search box, instead of having to manually search through our map folders.

I hope players who disconnect will be able to reconnect in Reforged

Also, we should be able to host a custom lobby with a replay, and watch replays with our friends online in chat

and we NEED NEED NEED the abillity to ban BOTH on lobby and in-game, and even after games. Just give us a ban list we can add and remove people from. It’s currently impossible to play games like 4v4 Legion TD, because noobs will leave after leaking once, and 3v4 is very easy to beat. I imagine this extends to a lot of other custom games, too.

This would lead to a ton of problems though. While most of the stuff I’d like to see, like a way to search your maps folder when going to host, you should not be able to change maps mid-host. That would just lead to some serious trolling, like waiting for a FH then swapping maps to something stupid and starting.

I don’t think having a group chat inside a replay would be that helpful, but that’s a whole nother beast, as the replay viewer is horribly out of date anyways.

Legion TD (x10/x20)

How do we host games with 3v3 or 4v4?, if you start one now it crashes after a few rounds.

Yeah that makes sense. but I do think we should be able to change the settings in the lobby, such as enabling observers without having to rehost
