Hit single player after being in multiplayer, and nothing

Specs:

MacBook Air
M1 2020
Apple M1
15.1 Sequoia

Problem: After going into multiplayer and waiting 45 seconds, get into lobby and click on custom games, hit create game, get stuck on screen and go back, go back as far as the initial menu, and then hit single player, and the screen is stuck on the desert again.

Please try to restart game between changing gaming types (multi to/from single player)
