Hi, is there any way to extract models from reforged and import them into Blender?

Specifically, I want to use the newer HD models in blender, but I don’t know if an extraction method is available after Reforged came out.

The way i do It is, i use retera model Studio script to turn HD into SD model. Save the model as .mdx. Load the model in milkshape, Export the model as wavefront .obj. Import the model in blender. The downside of this is that you import It without Textures, animations, etc… With this method you can import only the model. Apply it’s textures again is easy, but the animations, you need to remake them all over or create New. I use this method only to customize Warcraft 3 doodads. To edit Warcraft 3 units, edit animations, create new animations and other stuff i use retera’s model Studio. To export models from Warcraft 3 reforged directly into blender with everything, only if the wavefront .obj export option at retera’s model Studio was finished. I think i have some pictures of the HD ogre i imported into blender while i was experimenting this. Let me take a look…

Ah I see what you mean now with the .obj export not being implemented. Though I found the post in April, I’m not sure if there has been any updates to that?

Only Retera can answer that man. Be sure to look for the retera’s model studio (reforged) cause it’s the most updated version. Oh i almost forgot to post the pictures, i found the file of the hd ogre i imported into blender. Sorry for the delay rsrs. Here they are:
