Thanks for reminding me that this is one of the few cases where we can say that the development team is a disaster and not just the board.
Because if Champion did it 2 people and the “re-forged” campaigns do it 1 or a few people. And all this for free.
So if Reforged had at least 2 people who were really working on it, it should have at least half of the things.

I did not know. It is officially known that the development of Reforged is disbanded.
It is quite bizarre!
What did Blizzard expect when they put limited resources and time in the Reforged? And now they killed Warcraft 3 development completely!
So did managers in Blizzard evaluate the market for Warcraft 3 by delivering the low-quality product? Is this their method?
and we didn’t even know about it until a few days ago
Yes. They made a calculation:
- how many people will buy Reforged because of a WoW mount?
- how many people will buy Reforged because of a Diablo 3 pet (or something)?
- how many people will buy Reforged because they want to play the campaign in good graphics and then never play again?
- how many people will buy Reforged because they want to play melee and custom games online?
And then based on this calcluation they decided to crap on the wc3 community.
But ironically Reforged was so bad that w3champions could be put into it, which is maybe the best thing that ever happened to the competitive wc3 scene and melee as a whole, soon competitive custom maps too.
