Grid keybinds and Dvorak keyboard layout

I use a Dvorak keyboard layout, and when I play SC2, the Grid binds work fine, but War3 Reforged in Grid mode seems prebuilt for QWERTY, placing Grid keybinds all over the keyboard instead of confining them to the Grid as intended. Please support alternative keyboard layouts.

Also it would be great for an option to reverse the direction of the middle-click map grab. I consider middle-clicking to be grabbing the camera, not the terrain, so it moves backwards to my expectations after playing Heroes.

no reforged has 3 options:

Default = alphabetical (which is scattered)

Grid = all spells on ZXCV and everything else on QWER ASDF

Custom = however you want

the following guide aligns all the spells onto QWER with Attack Stop hiDe on ASD and Inventory items on TYGHB

For configuring a Dvorak setup, you can download Warkeys which helps you re-apply the grid alignment to your specifications (just google warkeys 1.32)

Oh, thanks!

Does not sound like an endorsement when the first thing you do after the release of a remaster is to go back to those same old third party programs that the remaster was supposed to do away with.

I mean, we need a third party program to play custom games, now you suggest we install third party software for hotkeys…
Why did we go through the trouble with this remaster again?

Firstly, not being able to bind inventory hotkeys and having to use third party software to do it is a big deal. It is just dumb that we have a 2020 remaster of war 3 where they essentially rebuild the game launcher from ground up and we still don’t have inventory hotkeys.

The third party software for custom games I am talking about is the fact that whenever I hit “custom game” the game would ask me to install “Bonjour.”
Now it doesn’t anymore and I don’t know why because I never hit install.

Well it’s not like Reforged’s UI is known for working flawlessly and not having bugs.

I’m also frustrated that the grid layout doesn’t account for Dvorak, although I do appreciate that there is a conf file to handle this (I’d prefer that be the case in general).

However, SC2 handled the grid layout fine, and was released 12 years ago. It’s disappointing to me that a remake couldn’t even bring such things up to 2020 standards.

Also, to suggest that people install 3rd party software is really bad advice from a security standpoint…
