And now, with the latest update, the game looks amazing.
Wow, nobody saw it coming, thank God Blizzard decided to improve the graphics and did not release the game in it’s work in progress state.

I do see slight improvement in the lighting but I don’t think it’s remotely close to looking finished.

Have you smoked something? It’s literally the same. Same shaders, lighting, textures, foliage. Units are still grey washed. No significat improvements at all when it comes to graphics.

No, Reforged is just bad.
Everyone thinks they will like Warcraft 3, with just newer graphics, until it hit the market, and people realized that is not at all what they wanted.
They wanted a game that felt like Warcraft 3, but was much more modern, and played more like an actual RTS game, not a quasi-MOBA.
Nostalgia goggles fall off very easy.

When i read the forum i can see “We want the game delayed” “We don’t want, we want release now” “Everyone say that we want this or that”.
No, we don’t know what “we” want.
The one things we know is what people who write on this forum want. Nothing less but nothing more.
Maybe (that’s just an idea) people who are disapointed by the game are most “motivated” to post ans write about it. Why people who just think “Yeah that’s not bad” would open a topic to say it ?
At my opinion we don’t have the real feed back of the community here and we can’t have it. Because only people who are in love or pissed off talk here.
just remember that the art style is up to the studio’s vision, players can either like it or sod off.
Depend of POV I guess. The nostalgic simply want Warcraft 3 with newer grafich
I wanted the game to have the lore that bridge with WoW and a lot of more stuff like SC2 (coop, better Battle net)
Some will simply want Warcraft3 with more battle net option because they just love the game as it is and even disable the grafich from the start.
So I guess some will be happy even if this is turn out to be “Warcraft 3 with better grafic”

Well again speak for yourself, but I get/will get more or less exactly what I wanted from Warcraft III: Reforged. Those people who wanted Reforged to play differently and to be more modern RTS did not really want Reforged in the first place, or had completely unrealistic expectations for it…what they really wanted was Warcraft IV, and thats something that Reforged was never going to be…
Which is realism, decided by the classic team.
