Hotkey rebinds for items

As for the other things they prolly wont implement them.
Well, you can already zoom to alert (just press space right after you hear the alert) and set your own hotkeys via CustomKeys.txt

most long-time fans dont want these things, and blizzard already said they wont be adding those things, because they would alter the gameplay too much. this isnt a new game its a remastering
you can already do that, as others have mentioned. Maybe try putting more time into the game?

“Don’t change my game. It is perfect as it is!” No it ain’t. It was fun for its time, but quality of life improvements to make it more enjoyable for todays people is more important than your blind nostalgia.
You are not a fan if all you do is trying to apply the breaks on progresses that might bring more people in the game. What a terrible mistake that would be to put money into the game if in the end many people are turn off by its dated mechanics.
Warcraft 3 deserved a better remaster than this.

WC3 has remained popular for 17 years and those who have enjoyed the original game dont want to see it changed. If enough people want a “new” game then blizzard can go make a “new” game but reforged is not a “new” game its just an upgrade

Your opinion doesnt effect me, and your negative comments wont change the game. Reforged isnt a new game, thats a fact. They wont be turning WC3 into SC2 or any other style of RTS, it will remain as it has for 17 years years. Do you disagree?
They don’t need to change the entirety of the game and its essence. They could bring some modernised mechanics. Even put options to activate them or not if that makes people happy. Thing is, it ain’t worth 40$+ with the content they are bringing into the game as of now.
If I want to play I’ll play the old WC3 I bought many years ago.
A) Reforged isnt $40… its $30 + an extra $10 if you wanted to buy some lame skins. I agree skins are pointless waste of money, so thats why I dont buy them. But the point of skins is to show support for a game you enjoy. If you spent the extra $10 on skins, that was your choice and not a necessity. You didnt need to buy those, so you cant really complain about that. If you dont think its worth it, dont waste your money
B) I wont disagree that Reforged isnt perfect. Obviously its seriously flawed which is sad. But if $30 is a lot of money to you, then ask for a refund. Blizzard doesnt really care at this point, because they are now owned by Activision, and Activision just wants $$. So, thats why Reforged isnt getting the work it needs, because they dont have a lot of people developing it. The classic games team is very small, and Activision wont give them more $$ to allow more people to work on it. They just want to sell skins and milk the game until it dies, cause thats what Activision does.
C) If you have been a fan of this game for many years, then it shouldnt matter if Reforged is perfect or not. WC3 was always flawed and broken, but true fans stuck with the game anyway. Reforged will help improve SOME things for us long-time players. Will it be sufficient for bringing in a lot of new players? maybe, maybe not, I dont really care. The community is sort of growing and hopefully in another year from now, all the newb-trolls will leave the game and the true fans will be able to get back to enjoying the game.
