Full Reworked campaign Warcraft I&II in Warcraft III Reforge

Full Reworked campaign Warcraft I & II in Warcraft III Reforge.
Since the story of the first and second orc war, greatly distorted and changed after the release of the third part of the game and MMO World of Warcraft
So how do a reissue of Warcraft I & II, as the engine and the concept of 2D games in modern times is outdated.

2 Campaigns and +4 Storylines:

  1. Campaign “First War”
1.1 Stormwind Fall - Orc storyline.
1.2 Battle of Stormwind - Human storyline.
  2. Campaign “Second War”

Who agrees with these? Agree or Disagree
Sorry for my terrible English.

I just want them to add wc2 units, character models, and sound effects to the wc3 world editor so people can make their own maps.

and add the wc2 soundtrack to the main game (as an option)

wc1 isn’t necessary

I’d be down for it. While I think it would be ever so slightly more interesting for them to add another Founding of Durotar-esque campaign like they did for Frozen Throne, I have zero complaints about revisiting and retelling the First and Second Wars as bonus campaigns post-launch. They’re already confirming that the events of Warcraft 3 are getting a little injection here and there. Streamlining the events of Warcraft 1 and 2 aren’t that much of a stretch of the imagination.

I agree with the first and second. But let them redo or modernize the sounds.

And what do you think about the campaign of the first and second orc war?

I played wc2 in the late 90s, but I didn’t care for the campaign, I played multiplayer. wc1 is a crappy game and I don’t consider it to have a complex story. wc3 has a semi-decent campaign with an interesting story but again, I don’t care for the lore that much. WoW has some cool artwork, but I don’t like WoW because the story is kinda silly

If you want to learn about real lore you should read the lord of the rings, which Warcraft is loosely based on

Fan campaign is the only way to resolve this issue.

Official campaign is going to be scrambled because every X years they try and touch WC1 or WC2 lore in WoW or Chronicles or some novel and everything changes. Then you have to change the campaign again to fit everything in.

Everything from Fel energy being green to Sargeras being a corrupted Titan instead of an actual demon, WC2’s lore is kind of a mess and I don’t think you can tell the same story. Even the WC2 novel is a mess because it tries to take the two campaigns and merge it into one.

You try to go canon with WC3 events, and only Alliance campaign is true canon. Or you try to remaster WC2 and keep it similar to the original, not remake. Either way, it would be interpretation of the campaign and not a canon version.

Even if you use the novel (which is canon) to base a campaign story, it already conflicts with current WoW timeline.

I think I would just be happier with a enhanced, completely remade ‘dream edition’ of WC2 campaign where they go in the Dark Portal to Outland, and you encounter the same kind of harsh land and creeps as you do in the Burning Crusade. The BtDP novel had the Alliance getting help from Gronn, fighting Black Dragons and all this other crazy stuff. Just ignore the lore and have fun with a new story. You can’t make sense out of it right now, it’s too mixed up.

WC1 almost had no story at all, it was pretty straight forward missions. I have seen some interesting fan campaigns for it, they could be used as a template for what can be done. WC2 is really messy though, story-wise.

I’d love to see either Blizzard put in the campaigns themselves or see the talented map editing community do it. Those guys are crazy talented and wouldn’t be surprised if they pull it off
