Friend who need help with wc3 reforged

Okay so to start i have a friend whos french canadian.
He does not speak english well beside hi and bye and toaster.
Anyway he has a problem with installing wc3 reforge its say in his account setting has bought reforge back at launch.
It show on his account reforge owned but he cannot install the game only “buy game” option.
I will rite a ticket for him to copy past but i just wondering if its a common isssue and what can he do.
I googgle the solution from support but it didnt work .
He just want to play wc3. thanks

But for your friend, why did not write them in French?
Sure Blizzard tech support can speak the 4 major languages (French, Spanish, Italian and German)

  • Open the launcher.
  • From inside it, click player icon in the upper right.
  • Log out of the launcher.
  • On the login screen, click the small cogwheel icon at the top.
  • Click continue without logging in.
  • When the launcher reopens, WC3R wil have an Install button.

Google Translate works really well for English < > French. Mon francais est horrible, but I live in a place where we get a lot of Quebecois visting, so it helps to learn some.

still need help the game is installed but he get error when booting the game

I told him to contact support but , he tryed repairing and stuff.

Sounds like your friend has more than one Battlenet account.

He bought WC3R back at launch on one Battlenet account, but now he is logging into the game launcher on a different Battlenet account. That would also explain why he didn’t have an “Install” button while he was logged into the launcher.

He needs to find the Battlenet account that he bought WC3R with, then use that same account to log into the launcher.
