Why does my mission selection have the books instead of what it was before?..
It was updated…which was the point of reforged not the OG…
Your 2002 version is still available on the internet. Go find an iso and download it.
The bookshelf design is frankly awesome. Way better than the ugly menu that only showed 3 of the campaigns at a time.
Look man if you really dont like it, dont play it. ask for a refund, go download an old version and have fun with the campaign.
Shouldn’t have to do that…was working just fine the day before 2.0
I am also getting a bug where individual units randomly go invisible when moving and i don’t mean like the NE invisible during night…full on no idea where they are invisible unless you highlight them then you get a small circle outline when you have units selected.
They seem to not understand that before Reforged ever existed, the “2002” game had over 50 patches. There’s very little chance that the 2002 version would run on any modern system.
Do you want the 2002 version or the week-ago version? Make up your mind.

I don’t remember, go look it up on the warcraft wiki. I’m too lazy (hey i’m honest) but I’ll let leviathan do it if he wants to
The version of the og game i was playing last god damn week…
had the og graphics, and animations yes it had hotfixes up until reforged was announced they they started putting out bigger patched but they left the og well enough alone…and im pretty sure most hotfixes had to do with custom games not campaign. Which is where i am running into units going invisible…they clearly screwed something up
Well it’s gone. OH well, life stinks sometimes.

That wasn’t the OG game. That was Reforged.
How many times do i need to repeat myself…i do not own reforged…never bought it never will…
Doesn’t matter how many times you repeat it. Last week was the Reforged client. Everyone has it, bought or not.
Like I said: Life stinks sometimes. Your choices are to either play the old version from decades ago, or play the new one. There is no option for in between.
You have no idea how much of a nightmare it would be to maintain many different versions of a product just to appeal to every tiny little niche interest. There’s a reason why old versions aren’t usually kept.
Frankly i’m stunned that the WoW team is actually able to maintain three different live versions of the game at the same time. It most likely takes a crazy big team to handle that, but it’s a subscription game, so they get enough money to do that.
Aaaand who asked for that? literally no one…kinda the reason they had OG AND Reforged…

Actually most of the community has been begging for all sorts of improvements for the last 5 years.
and i was playing the “old” version just fine via the launcher and blizz messed with it…
so i opened a ticket and was told to come here…

You can ask for a refund and they may or may not grant it, but they’re not going to keep maintaining two different versions of W3R.
