Seems 1v1 and team games MMR is atleast getting updated with minor erros.
However, FFA has some problems
Unless you are the first leaver, that game gets saved as a win. In some cases even if you are the first to leave, it still counts as a win and you gain MMR for being #4. The result is almost everyone having a 100% to 90% win rate. Just go look at the leader board.
Some games are not getting properly saved. My estimate is only 30-40% gets saved in my player profile.
Please fix this
wrong forum. you should post it in the bug report forum. guess it is not that easy being new so, i will just tell you what you did wrong.
The intended behavior is 1st and 2nd place are treated as win and generally both will gain MMR, while 3rd and 4th place are treated as a loss and generally (but not always) lose MMR. The actual gains/losses depend entirely on each player’s MMR. HOwever, it might actually determine the win/loss state by whether or not you gained MMR.
Not sure if you have played FFA many times
3th place and 4th place gains mmr so many times.
Some times being 4th give you both win and mmr.
Go downo to page 40, people still have 100-90%+ win rate.
according to your calculation, the avg win rate should be 50-60% for those players.
Something is wrong with this. It is just like how everyone was gettinf free Losses in solo.
BUt in FFA everyone is getting free Wins
You can try leave 4 games in a row being the 4th player in that game. You wil probably get 3-4 Wins, 0-1 Loss, which makes no sense.
I have indeed played FFA many times, but thanks for your comments. I have never recieved a win in 4th place.
Now, i’m not suggesting nothing is broken, but my experience doesn’t really align with yours. So idk what else to tell you.

If you never expeienced it then your limited experience means nothing to my post about the FFA Bug on W/L conditions. I don’t know why you are even commenting here when you didn’t expereince it. Youdon’t even try to replicate it which is super easy to do.
I tried it once again in a different server with 0/0 FFA records. I instant left a game and got a Win again. It takes 1,2 min at most. Try it or please move on.

It is limited. Because you did NOT Expereinced the bug, when 1000s of people have 90-100% win rate. You are saying you never got a win as a 4th player. Try it now please.
We all have different experiences, friend. Maybe it’s a gateway issue or something. I don’t know. But I assure you, I have played more than my fair share of FFA and I’ve never recieved a win in last place. I gain/lose MMR according to the description by Blizzard of what is supposed to happen, and the only issue I typically have is the same one you see in the team modes: Games simply not being recorded at all intermittently.
I said so your expereince matter nothing to me if you didnt experienced this bug.
Please try it by yourself. I already made a 3/0 accoutn with 5050 mmr while you were typing. It takes you 10sec. Plese try. Plese, you are just avoiding. If I know how to post a video i can do it.
My experience matters because it doesn’t align with yours, meaning that this “bug” isn’t 100% and doesn’t happen to everybody all the time. Sorry your game experience has been impacted, but arguing semantics with me won’t get either of us anywhere.

Really, I’m just illustrating how much you’re wasting your time complaining about it- for one, they’ve basically not fixed any bugs with matchmaking as a whole since the beginning, any fix they’ve issued seems to have been temporary at best- they’re done with this game, it’s not going to get fixed. And secondly, no one actually plays FFA competitively, just ignore the MMRs and win rates and just enjoy the game

Dont know why you are shifting to a different point? They kind of fixed the solo MMR bug. IT is not perfect, but it is somewhat better than 1 year ago. They can fix FFA MMR and W/L if they try to.

I am currently #7 Undead gaining 3-5 mmr every minute or two after leaving every single FFA game. Join Asia, add me as friend, see my games list. I’ve been only doing this for an hour since i turn on my pc and talked to you. I think i can reach #3 in undead while watching youtube.

BUG is there. It doesnt matter if everyone experience it or not. MANY except you are experiencing it. Blizzard needs to fix it. I dont care if you experience it or not. Bug is present and I don’t know why youare even talking with me when you are not experiencing it.

I still haven’t seen some of these oddities you describe. And I’ve played many FFAs, including today. I have definitely seen matches just vanish into the aether, because that also happens in 2v2/3v3/4v4. But this whole winning in last place thing? I’ve never seen that.
They can fix FFA MMR and W/L if they try to.
Is it possible? Absolutely. Are they going to do it? No.
