I would really like these two features from SC2 LOTV to be considered for Reforged:
- display the number of workers currently collecting gold from a gold mine like mineral/gas workers in sc2 (not everyone knows you need 5 workers most of the time)
- send all the workers to the gold mine at the beginning of a ladder/melee game
Theres probably other interesting usability features in SC2 that would work well in Reforged
The option to visually display what is in a control group in the UI would also be very very appreciated. Because it is really helpful to visually see what control group a building or such was assigned to. Control groups these days are only half as useful to me when I dont have this

unit, build timers, exact damage vs various armor types. Skill timers. How much does a frag upgrade improve % of siege vs non-armor and medium armor.
If not exact numbers, at least provide % damage. Normal damage % vs medium and the rest. SCII displays this like normal damage and vs armored. Helps much to understand counters better.
Abilities targetiing / what they cant.
Spell damage, % increase when sent into ‘spirit’ mode. Does it do increased to heavy ? How much it does vs heroes, buildings.

Excellent ideas. I’ve always wondered too, why they couldn’t show the amount of workers in the goldmine with orcs and humans like there’s the gold bars with night elves. Modern games have a lot more information out there, and especially detailed one, I’d love to see all those implemented you both pointed out.

what came to mind is also, DPS. Since units damage output per hit is not AS important as in SC because its armor always reduces damage by 1, making each point of damage very important, I think it will be important to understand the DPS, attacks per second too, translated into DPS to help understand effects of endurance aura for example.
How does vampiric aura work ? Does it give you % of damage dealt after armor ? And so on. How much does DK aura add speed % that will be numbered. Not very slow, slow … this way it is very hard to expect and understand how much do damage and armor upgrades affect unit performance.
Something like showing unit range like some key combination to see how far it shoots, so if you build towers, you can see the coverage.
