Feedback to devs

Just change as little as humanly possible.
Tiny things are ok, but not too much. Postpone optional heroes to AFTER launch!

Make a great recreation to how we remember Warcraft 3 first and foremost without altering it too much.

I personally think the artstyle is great, but be mindful of silhouettes and the readability of the map. All units in Warcraft 3 were great because you could instantly read the screen and what units were there (an example as brought up previously is the outline of the footman’s shield)

Please be careful when retconning lore and locations like Stratholme. Warcraft 3 had a certain feel to it and many of us like the old maps, which are an integral part of the Warcraft 3 experience.

As a WoW player since classic, I want Warcraft 3 to fundamentally remain Warcraft 3 even if it clashes with WoW canon. I understand you want to change the maps a bit, but let the “Warcraft 3 vision” of the game guide you throughout the designing process.

Thanks for listening

TL;DR: I don’t trust devs.

You must have been mad disappointed if you ever went on after that and played World of Warcraft because the locations of those maps are not 1:1 from the RTS.

I don’t mind tying together all the Warcraft canon. So long as altering the geography to the canon stuff doesn’t wind up tampering with the original objectives.

TBF they are pretty quiet. I don’t expect them to be commenting all the time or anything, but at least a weekly update or something would be nice.
