Failed - Network Error

Hey guys,

I’m trying to download the Warcraft 3 Classic set-up file and it kept saying Failed - Network Error.

I used mobile internet, WIFI then a friend’s computer and WIFI. One time it said it finished but left a .crdownload file in the ZIP and the launcher didn’t work. The rest of the times it was that Failed - Network Error issue.

How difficult is it to get this game?!! Please help

Nope, same issue here. I have a very fast connection, no other issues.

I actually posted to Blizzard Help and after messaging back and forth with a bunch of failed attempts to fix it, they called me and worked through the issue. Basically it was my ISP that was blocking the download, so they advised me to install a VPN with a free trial and download it. It worked like a charm. After that I had some issues running it, so I had to try a different region’s link and then everything fell into place. The tech guy who called me was pretty great, would suggest you try them.
