So long, and thanks for all the fish!
Then by all means, get a refund and move on to the next thing. Or play on Windows. If I bought a Mac, that’s what I’d have regretted spending money on lol- pay more to get less.
If only if only.
You can still get refunds under the standard return policy. If you just bought the game and couldn’t figure out within a matter of hours that it wasn’r running well, then well… it wasn’t bothering you enough to refund it.
But if we’re talking about someone who bought the original game years and years ago and you’re only having problems now- they didn’t sell you a broken product. It worked for many years and you clearly got $30-40 worth of enjoyment out of it.
Should I be able to refund the SNES I bought 30+ years ago now because the plastic turned yellow?
Who says you are only having problems now. Product was broken for years, and still is.
Disputable.
You clearly didnt. You clearly got -$30-40 worth of enjoyment. Blizzard owes you reparations if anything.
Shouldnt you be able to get a refund on the SNES you bought 1 day ago because the developer stole it out of your pocket the moment you stepped out of the store?
Well, we’re not talking about my problems now, are we? I haven’t experiecned anything that would put me in the “I want a refund” camp. Not to say I’m fully -satisfied-, of course, just not angry over technical issues.
Maybe, but I didn’t see all that much complaining before Reforged aside from some people wishing they’d update the game for whatever reason.
Again. We’re not talking about me, so please stop saying “you.” I bought the game when it came out decades ago and had loads of fun with it. I definitely DID get $30-40 worth of entertainment out of it. Who are you to tell me whether I had fun or not?
That’s not what’s happening here. If we’re talking about something that JUST happened, they are within the refund period and can get a refund. And they should be pursuing that rather than posting about it here. You don’t get refunds by ranting on the forums, you get them by contacting support.
The point of that statement was “should you be able to refund something you bought decades ago because it doesn’t work a quarter century later?” No. That’s not reasonable.
Please stop inserting “you” when replying to me- this thread isn’t about me, it’s about the OP.
Also: Given how they edited their post, it looks like they probably got their refund.
