Please, guys do not let Warcraft die, we will unite to ask Blizzard to fix and bring the contents that were promised in the announcement and that are still posted on the game’s website.

Not much its the death nail that will bring blizzard down and activision will absorb and close blizzard for good.
Blizzard has one last chance for diablo 4. If its DOA like this pile of crap is then activision will kill blizzard forever. IF it works then they have another chance to fail.

I don’t get why people have this mentality that the company will inevitably collapse if X game doesn’t sell well.
Blizzard didn’t collapse when Warlords of Draenor failed, they didn’t collapse when Battle for Azeroth failed, they didn’t collapse when Heroes of the Storm failed, they didn’t collapse when Hearthstone started to decline, they didn’t collapse when Starcraft 2 started to decline, they didn’t collapse when Overwatch started to decline, they didn’t collapse after the Diablo Immortal fiasco, and they didn’t collapse after the Hong Kong fiasco.
Clearly, Blizzard is a resilient company. If you’re hoping that this time they’ll be gone for good, you’re probably going to be disappointed.

this has nothing to do with activision. Activisions remasters have gone pretty well over the last few years. This is all Blizzard.

Dude there is 0% chance they will remake the campaign, it would take too long. They even barely made the existing primitive cutscenes barely work, some of the mouth movements are bugged or way off.
So forget about it. There’s like 60 missions dude, with loads of cutscenes. Aint gona happen.
What blizzard can do realistically is improve the UI and make it more powerful like the sc2 UI, and give us ranked ladder.

I expect they will just perform balance changes to units, camps and maps in line with the pro scene. They won’t reimplement or add any features that most of the player base are requesting. I will be surprised if people even tune in to the pro scene after this mess unless they pull a ‘No Mans Sky’ turnaround, and quickly.
This thread is more entertaining than the game.

Warcraft 3 will not die. Even if I hate reforged I still play and find bugs that I send to blizz to fix it. This is the only thing we can do. But if they don’t fix it is they’r problem.
But even with the fix reforged is not a fun place. The custom have new policy. Is not the safe place as it should be.
So, you can still have fun, but not like in the past.

Blizzard has just become a little too cocky and think they can get away with anything.
The best thing the community can do is hold them to account and hit them where it hurts, in the pocket.
At some point you have to make a stand and endure some pain as the games you love take a turn for the worse. However. It will take reactions like this and hopefully some financial strain for Blizzard to change.
False hate, have you not seen what they promised versus what was delivered? They also never once talked about any of those features being cancelled and pretended that it was a remaster. They Peter Molyneax’d the game and continued to promist a remaster, but only delivered a basic HD graphics update for ~$15 more then the Starcraft HD update while also adding custom in game appearances for a price ~10 more in the collectors edition plus whatever they decide to add in the future. It also breaks everything that makes the first gamne great forcing the old game to use the new engine and we own everything rules. You may like getting screwed but not everyone is a buy everything even when it is overpriced and underdelivers.

Well if you look at activision acquiring companies, they use the companies ip’s and keep them around until they cant milk it anymore.
What has blizzard done that was actually successful? Overwatch, sure but its died down quite a bit and blizzard can’t make money on the esports scene. Sc1 remake was successful. I suppose you can say wow classic is also a success.
So 3 successes. Failures? Diablo mobile, sc2 esports scene, hots and its esports scene, hearthstone falling off, WoW’s new “expansion”.
Yeah activision is milking what they can when they finally cant they will kill off the company. Diablo 4 if its not successful and costs the company more failure and money do you really think activision is going to keep carrying blizzard around and let it continue to lose money? No not really. They will combine the company and close the offices of blizzard and get rid of the rot to save face and their stock market prices. This is how activision has worked for quite a while…The writing is on the walls.
