For the people who think they might get back on warcraft. Don’t get high hopes.
its clearly they do not care about warcraft. im sure if they need space on their servers they ill not hesitate to take warcraft offline.
Watch my words

With the development focus on D2R, if anything significant is going to happen with Reforged, it’s likely not until after D3R is up and stable for a while.
So it’s reasonably safe to put it out of mind for a while and spent the energy somewhere else for a bit. If something does come sooner, it becomes a bonus.
That’s just their latest excuse. If you think Blizzard will ever pull devs off D2R to support a game they had nothing to do with, generates nominal revenue, and would require significant investment of time and resources as they basically have to start from scratch… you’re dreaming.
The community fixed the game, which is not optimal because it splits the community, but it’s the best we can hope for. Blizzard is done here. They abandoned the game when they decided to close the team that had any idea what they were doing.
It’s not their excuse. Since Team 1 was dissolved in Oct, Bliz has only said they still plan on delivering the features, but it’s taking longer than expected due to the state of the world.
What i posted is community conjecture, that I tend to agree with.
I didn’t make any claims about their statement, for or against, Requiem. That is another one of your fabrications. I simply repeated what they’ve said in the past to demonstrate that what I said in my initial reply was not Bliz’s words. You managed to miss that, or willfully ignore it, and changed over to accusing me of apologist BS.
Trouble is since we started yesterday, I haven’t stated anything that is “Bliz PR apologist”. I haven’t defended, or agreed with, approved of anything Bliz is doing with WC3. Just like yesterday, you’re conjuring up anything you can to support your narrative. Creating things that aren’t there.
And as a life tip, just because you don’t like what youre being told doesn’t automatically make it trolling. However, as far as trolling goes, it can’t possibly be by accident that you assume that just because someone repeats what others have said in the past, it also means they agree/approve of it.
Well now we know you’re being intentionally obtuse.
First, I placed their claim in my response to rebut your erroneous claim that what i said initially was Bliz’s words.
Second, I’d have to be lying for it to be a false narrative. Bliz did say it. Just becaus you don’t agree with their statement doesn’t mean they didn’t say it.
Again, it seems tgat when you hit a wall, your only recourse is to deflect to something that was never there in the first place.
"Second, I’d have to be lying for it to be a false narrative. Bliz did say it. "
Because everything Blizz says is the truth?
Keep going…
I never said they were or they weren’t, only that they said it, which only applies to your incorrect assertion that Bliz said they would work on WC3 after D2R.
Thank you for proving my point about being obtuse withing minutes of being accused. And please for the sake of everyone here, don’t keep going.
And with that, along with the passive-aggressive emojis and exclamation points, you can no longer accuse anyone else of trolling here.
guys ffs… really…
The failure on wc3 reforged is enough for me to not purchase a blizzard game until I hear through trusted sources ie friends, (not gaming review sites as they are just as corrupt as blizzard). This is a large enough company to work on wc3 and d2r together, there is no excuse.
The lack of work on a massive failure like this, you’re not a company I trust and will likely never trust again.
My best guess is they work on some kind of warcraft mobile game,
yikes
I’m truly hoping the former VV staff will work on at least just finishing the basic features of WC3: R a little while after D2:R is launched and stable… If nothing else, get us player profiles, custom campaigns, etc BACK.
Giant Frost or Immortal come out. They start to function as a mini Lol and generate many benefits for their companies.
Then blizzard realizes that he lost money and gets W4. It works but not as much as they want and they discard it. Like Heros.
I think if they take the game offline it will blow up worst in their faces than if they decide to give us the old game and take the online feature offline.
If they took the game offline without forcing it to be on their new bnet you could still technically play the game. Now it connected with the launcher and the new bnet so if I understand it correctly if they take it offline that’s it its gone. the only way to get it and play it would be to go to amazon and buy the battle chest sets before they all gone and update to 1.27b i believe.
When will blizzard learn that the more they keep pulling this “bs” the more player are going to leave until blizzard is nothing but a walking corpse?
Arguing with Leviathan is the biggest waste of time you can possibly find.
Not really an excuse. The absorbed a company capable of actually producing excellent remakes
It’s entirely possible that vicarious visions takes over fixing WC3 reforged after finishing D2R
Ya if Activision see profit from it. if its going to cost more than what they think it will make it will just be canceled. Just because its a blizzard game does not mean anything anymore. Activision is calling the shots now.
What needs to happen is more people leave the shareholders either threaten bobby with NO bonus unless he sells Blizzard and its problems. You take make give him that ultimatum and he will “Bend the Knee”, the man only cares about money, threaten that bonus and it will be like end of the world for him so to speak, he do anything to keep that bonus.
Have you seen the news? While they parade their “inclusivity”, “representation” and sexual minority or feminist crap (which I honestly couldn’t care less about), they KNEW all along the disaster Warcraft III: Reforged is going to be. I couldn’t care less about the behavior scandals inside Blizzard. All I care about are great games. Which apparently Blizzard forgot how to make. Or rather, won’t create as the best employees are gone, and Activision is squeezing more and more the life of the remaining Blizzard.
After killing both Starcraft II and Warcraft III (the first one by stopping development, not providing any new heroes, and not continuing on Nova’s Ghost story) and the second one by butchering the old game and forcing a 30 Gb “update” on our throats, I’m DEFINITELY done with Blizzard.
Diablo 2 Remastered? NO, thanks, the Amazon looks like a le$$bian butch. LAN will definitely be removed and my guess is that, just as it was for Warcraft III, you can’t keep the old game. So, no, no, no, no, I’ll pass.
WoW? I’ve never paid for an MMO. Nor will I pay 15 USD a month.
Diablo IV? Microtransactions? Skins? LOL. Not even playing Beta. There are enough studios out there that can produce a nice game without MTX involved.
I’ve paid Cyberpunk Collector’s Edition, 300 USD. Single player campaign. Great single-player game. Loved it.
I’ve paid Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Great single-player game.
I’ve been gifted the Death Stranding game. Loving it so far.
Do you know what these have in common? ZERO microtransactions. ZERO pay-to-win bullsh1t.
Not buying ANYTHING from Activision. Not buying ANYTHING from Blizzard.
Want me to change my mind? bring back the old Warcraft III, ladder and all, bring back the servers, and let me choose which one I want to play, not force to play what YOU think I want to play.
That’s quite the rant, to each their own, but what does that have to do with my point? I’m not sure why all that was a reply to me.
My only point was that it’s not unreasonable to assume that if anything happens with Reforged, it won’t be until after D2R is out and stable for a while.
