Lots of people dont like Reforged menu lag or how the Reforged has no custom campaign option.
Back when only Russians had Reforged beta and no one else, and I felt left out, I got some old parts and made a computer that I threw away afterward knowing it would be a security hole otherwise, and then on this temporary machine I installed Russia reforged hack. But the day after the actual Beta came out so I quit it and got rid of that trash computer.
But what I dont understand is why quenching or w3champions or these complaining people who want a better game dont use the technology I saw on my own computer that day.
The day I did that, I had a Russian program that ejects out of the webpage mode to the old menu.
When I tried it, it was:
Put Russian exe in reforged install dir
Launch Russian exe
See battlenet login webpage menu mode
Press play offline but nothing happens
Press space bar ten times
And then it ejects to the old menu with the 3D background screen but it has a new 3D model made for Reforged and the old menu is updated to have widescreen support (unlike 1.31 which just showed black on the sides).
Everything is the same except the Battle.net button does not work if you click it, and the Single Player menu’s “Custom Game” button was renamed to “Custom” or something like that. It was like they started on it but changed their mind to make the new one.
But this means it would have been able to do custom campaigns on Reforged graphics also. And so I dont understand why people arent using this technology now on the new version. Does anyone else have experience with this?
Where is the Old Menu Mod for Reforged 1.32.8? That’s what I am asking. I know it can be done, I saw it with my own two eyes last fall.
Seriosuly speaking, do you know if the source code can be found anywhere or there is just a random exe?
I would be interested in getting rid of this sick menu too…
It is also illegal to distribute bloatware… so…
Write in google “ownedcore warcraft 3” and click on the first result and you will find a thread about it. The thread doesn’t seem too active though, but a member posted a Discord link on the last page.
