It’s understandable to encounter an issue with an update; this has happened to other game or software publishers. However, Blizzard has made absolutely no communication regarding this problem, which has been ongoing for almost a month now.
The least a professional company can do is to test its updates before releasing them online, and if an issue arises nonetheless, keep its community informed about the progress in resolving it.
Blizzard clearly has no respect for its Mac players; we must not represent enough money to warrant even the decency to keep us informed or at least apologize for the inconvenience.
A new update for Battle.net was just released, but the issue remains unresolved.
I’ve been playing Blizzard games since Warcraft 1, and for 25 years I’ve never experienced this kind of disregard from a publisher I once considered brilliant. One thing is certain—I will never buy another Blizzard game again.
I really agree with what you mention one trusts the brand and the quality of the games because they give you the guarantees and security to enjoy the games but it should be the same on all platforms not only in Windows we who use MAC also deserve a solution so we have paid for this game, if they do not solve it incur in a crime of fraud that does not suit them. We hope to have an answer as soon as possible.
yea i bought it on the 25th of this mothn excited to play after only playing it when it was cds to install… then opening the forums to see. ( ww2 pstd flashbacks) kinda of a bummer.
So am I understanding this right: That respect for your cohort is measured by if/when Bliz updates with “Still working on it”?
Is it just once? With one, has respect been paid?
Is it more? How many? How many “Still working on it” equals respect in your eyes? Two? Five? Twenty?
And/or how often equals respect for you? Every day? Every other day? Every week?
And no matter how many or how often “Still working on it” updates are given, what news did that bring that wasn’t already known via the acknowledgement post? The very post that was made out of respect for your cohort at the very start?
If you actually read what I post, Yelo, I’ve been explaining relevant realities that either are behind (because I do know something about them) or can be behind (because they are plausible) our current situation.
Simply not liking what is said doesn’t immediately make it trolling or “fun because no life”.
In your case, I challenged your assertions about respect. And similarly, not liking being debated doesn’t make it trolling.
