And how do they work? Can I double bind so I can have the same key for two different things in different situation or am I locked to one? Will I be able to have my abilities at 1, 2, 3 instead of some random letters? Can I double bind and have the abilities on those keys and if I press the + to learn a new ability on those keys?
All assuming that there is custom keys binds. I have not checked if the old verision has it yet.

Customs keys are confirmed. Now sure how they will work, but Im sure they will give you the freedom to do pretty much whatever you want.
There is no key binding in warcraft 3 and as far as I can tell there won’t be any key binding in reforged. Neither can I see how it would work with this game as key bindings are made within the world editor and the goal is to make reforged compatible with the original wc3.

There are custom keybinds already in Warcraft 3 and Reforged has been confirmed to have a simpler way to set the keybinds.

Perhaps I misunderstand what you mean by key binding? You can of course macro units etc. to numbers 1 to 0. Hotkeys however are made within the world editor and are usually a letter from the ability name. There is a way to editing attack, move and build keys by using the CustomKeysSample.txt why you would want to change those keys would be beyond me as it will most likely create conflicts with the ability hotkeys. I haven’t seen or heard anything about adding customizable hotkeys in reforged. It is very likely however that the editable txt file will remain.
Well, in Reforged the keybinds could be button position specific, instead of ability specific. For example, it wouldn’t matter what ability you have in position 0, 2 (first of the third row; left lower corner), it would always be hotkey Q.
It would be nice if keybindings for commands were straight in game and wouldn’t have to be done through a .txt file like in original.
God that was annoying.

I hope the keybinding menu is like it is in SC:R and SC2 where you can just click through all the buildings and units and assign them. And it’ll show invalid ones whether it’s unbound or conflicting ones.

They must make custom keys menu not to go edit customkeys.txt in game.And i play whit numlock keys and arrows.

Customkeys.txt is limited and only lets you rebind very little amount of keys plus it requires a bachelor to understand how to do it.
Hotkeymenu should be top priority right behind ladder and profiles.
