you only really need to buy reforged to use HD in the game, the editor still works in HD without purchasing reforged. i have tested this, by running the editor on another account where i do not have reforged. they should keep the system where the map can be shared from the host, though they could also add a database for maps played by a lot of players. the editor can be configured to not create a map at startup. it is in the general tab of the settings.

as above, this is false. The editor can be used, even with the HD assets, regardless of whether you own Reforged or not (this is why the game takes up 30GB of space regardless). Literally the only thing different if you don’t own reforged is the switch to enable Reforged mode is grayed out.

lmao blink is OP as all hell and blood mage is fine. Bats are also fine and abosolutely don’t need to be reverted. Learn to use more units.
its only an issue when opening maps made before Reforged, far as I’ve been able to tell. New maps, and maps that have been saved in the editor since reforged shoudln’t have that problem.
