[Definite Edition] Missing Animations

Compiling a list of units / models from the Definitive Edition graphics that are missing significant animations or have animation errors compared to their classic counterparts.

Campaign:

• Baron Rivendare [Human and Undead] (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Garek [Human and Undead] (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Landen [Human] (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Sir Zeliek [On Foot] (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

Melee:

• Beastmaster (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Brewmaster (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Dragonspawn (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Forsaken Paladin (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Furbolgs and Polar Furbolgs (Classic had attack spell 1 and attack spell 2 animation names; new DE animation names cause Furbolgs to only produce one auto attack animation)

• Rock Golems (attack 2 missing)

• Sasquatch, Wendigo, & Jungle Stalkers (attack 1 copied to attack slam)

• Siege Golems and Flesh Golem (attack 2 missing)

• Skeletal Orc (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

• Tinker (attack 1 copied to attack 2)

Come on, Blizzard. Are we seriously going to be watching Rexxar hack away at enemies with one auto-attack animation again, once you release DE versions of the old campaigns, because you neglected to fix your mistakes and learn from Reforged graphics? Compare your animation variety to classic models and fix this stuff. There should be no excuse why updated models are missing animations compared to classic counterparts. If anything, Reforged and Definitive models should have more animations.

I don’t think creeps are important.

All Melee heroes and T1 units need more than enough quality animation. Some of them have unique stand 1/2/3 and attack 1/2 animation.

The Brewmaster’s spell animations are worse than in the reforged version; he no longer drinks before breathing fire.

The Demon Hunter’s unique one-legged standing animation is gone, and Rexxar’s axe animation is also missing. Too many compromises were made in the rush of the product.
