Defeat Screen after Won - Lowered MMR - no Win points

4x4 Random team for me.I won after 30 minutes and:

  • I got the “Defeat Screen”.
  • Lowered MMR (- 80 something)
  • But in table I got border, of course it was a win!
  • After I checked Win Points - I did not got any point.

When will you fix? At least I want my points for portraits.

Bro I get this alote. even when i win i get 3 mmr but i can loss 150mmr or 200 mmr.
they will not fix it.

This hasn’t happened to me since before the last patch. get video evidence next time

you got 3 mmr because you beat people who were lower MMR than you. And you lost lots of MMR because you lost to people who were lower MMR than you.

If you want to dispute this, record some matches where you question the MMR change making sure we can see the MMRs on the loading screen and the change that occured afterward.

Note that if you can’t see the MMRs of anyone on the other team, it’s likely a fresh arranged team and they will be at or near 5000 internally.

Mr. CaptainJack,

I would like to express my viewpoint that your recent statements may not accurately capture the situation. You have suggested that I lack firsthand experience and have inquired about the submission of images to support your argument. Today, I encountered several players with MMR ratings exceeding 4900. Allow me to share the names of these individuals: Team 1 comprised Logos, Corsaire, Darkmansbuddy, and Sprenter, with an average MMR of 4100. Team 2 consisted of XIL0veUn0obX, DireRaven, Rainy, and ThirdDay. average of 4900. I lost 170 MMR ^^

I would like to request that you refrain from defending the game with which we are engaged. My contention is that such defense might inadvertently exacerbate the issues at hand. It is important to consider that I have engaged in over 100 games, thus affording me a comprehensive understanding of the prevailing dynamics. Additionally, a friend of mine, who operates within the same gaming environment, has been able to sustain a positive winning streak while maintaining an MMR of approximately 5300. Remarkably, this player consistently finds themselves aligned with more proficient teammates. This observation prompts me to underscore the notion that victories should rightfully favor those who excel, while defeats should appropriately fall upon those who perform less competently.

My primary contention pertains to what I perceive as a flawed matchmaking system. In my personal experience, I find myself frequently partnered with players of inferior skill, which consequently necessitates me to navigate and strive to succeed within a challenging framework. This imbalance within the team composition is, in my estimation, further aggravated by the absence of rectification measures to ensure a balanced and engaging gameplay experience. Such asymmetry has even resulted in instances of player abandonment due to the perception of an inequitable MMR allocation.

In conclusion, I kindly request that you cease advocating for the game’s current state, as my perception is that these actions might inadvertently perpetuate a sentiment of complacency among the player base. It is my belief that these circumstances warrant a genuine review and remedy. I trust that this elucidation resonates with you, serving to underscore the urgency of addressing these matters.
so don´t try to defend them ^^

I just want to add one thing, which is why I’m editing once again. I recently played a match, and I won, but strangely I was given a loss. How can the game even be remotely considered good under such circumstances? In my opinion, players should receive refunds, and the game should not be sold in stores.

Sincerely,

I welcome differing views, but if you firmly believe in them, you should be able to provide evidence.

I’m not defending anything. I simply prefer to keep all discourse, both positive and negative, rooted in fact. Bashing for the sake of bashing accomplishes nothing. Hating on Blizzard won’t get the game fixed, accurate information that is helpful to getting an issue addressed is the only thing that will.

Again: Did you record it? I’d love to see it. As I said, my experience has been different from yours. While the issue you describe was previously a rather common occurrence which definitely caused me and many people undue frustration, until recently, I have not seen it happen since the previous major patch. In order to convince me it is still happening, you’ll need to provide video proof.

I apologize, Mr. CaptainJack, but the sentiment you’re expressing doesn’t align with my experience. From my standpoint, I’m fully aware of the circumstances that led to my losses. For example, I encountered opponents with MMRs exceeding 5000 and yet faced a loss of 170. The prevailing situation is characterized by an influx of bugs and a subpar gaming experience. While the developers assert that they are actively addressing the issues, the passage of three to four years without substantial progress is perplexing.

It’s clear that the game requires comprehensive attention. Contrasting this with platforms like Wc3champions, which have adeptly resolved similar issues and implemented a commendable MMR and ELO system, highlights the need for a more rigorous approach. The superiority of the ELO system, as evidenced by its implementation on other platforms, further substantiates the need for a reevaluation of the current framework.

An intriguing avenue for potential resolution lies in harnessing the capabilities of artificial intelligence. By leveraging AI’s analytical prowess, the developers could potentially identify the root causes of these issues and expedite their resolution. This approach, while unconventional, could yield invaluable insights.

In light of the aforementioned, it’s important to clarify that my observations are directed at the ongoing situation and the need for the developers to address these concerns with greater urgency. Your insights are deeply appreciated, and I hope that the developers take heed of the community’s concerns to restore the game’s former glory.

I can see that, but if you want to convince me of anything, you have to back it up with evidence. That’s the only way you can shift my viewpoint on something.

I mean, that much is obvious, but again, just saying this helps no one achieve anything. Report -specific- issues and provide -evidence.- create individual threads for specific issues (or reply to the existing ones. Just going on this board and saying “your game stinks get your act together” doesn’t accomplish anything

Regarding this specific issue: In the past I have encountered an MMR screen saying “defeat” after winning a game, but when the match is recorded on my profile, it is recorded correctly, meaning it was a display bug and not actually penalizing me. So when recording a video, be sure to include the loading screen, the end of game screens, and your profile screen after the game (or a screenshot if the match doesn’t get recorded right away, which is certainly something that still needs improvement))

I perceive your efforts to influence Blizzard’s perception in favor of your viewpoint. However, I sincerely hope that they don’t succumb to your persuasion, as your intention seems to be to dissuade them from considering the validity of the issues I, and others, raise. This approach could inadvertently lead the game to remain unchanged, akin to how it was several years ago. Is this the reason behind the substantial count of 2500 messages you have posted? That’s an extensive engagement level within the forum environment. I can imagine that you’re endeavoring to cultivate a sense of trust from Blizzard, Captain Jack. Nonetheless, it’s crucial that this endeavor doesn’t hinder the sincere voices of those genuinely concerned about the game.

There’s a significant number of players who hold affection for this game, and it’s vital that we collectively work towards its betterment. I would strongly advise reconsidering the approach you’ve adopted, as the situation is of substantial import. Fabricating falsehoods about bugs is not a practice that any responsible player engages in.

Kindly correct and provide a sophisticated tone to the English translation:
"I see your attempts to influence Blizzard’s perspective. However, I sincerely hope that they aren’t swayed by your efforts to undermine the credibility of my statements, potentially resulting in the game stagnating like it did years ago. Is this the reason behind your extensive activity of posting 2500 messages? It’s a considerable volume of engagement within the forum environment. I understand you might be striving to build trust with Blizzard, Captain Jack, but it’s important not to overshadow genuine concerns held by players.

Numerous players hold a deep fondness for this game, and it’s pivotal that we work together to enhance its state. I would urge you to reconsider your approach, given the gravity of the situation. Falsifying information about bugs is not a practice exercised by responsible players."

Really man, give me a break. I’m not trying to influence anyone or anything, I’m simply stating facts to the best of my understanding. I’m not here for blizzard, I’m here because this is a forum and people discuss things on forums, as that’s their function. Your comments are coming off as very passive-aggressive and I find it quite unpleasant.

When you report bugs you should provide reproduction steps and screenshots or video evidence. This helps whoever is responsible find and replicate any reported bugs and it increases the chance that, if present, they will be fixed. If you don’t do these things, it becomes impossible for a game developer to properly analyze an issue and impedes any chances of it being fixed. And this is true of any software development project, not just this one.

I don’t think any of us would be here if we didn’t. And it is because of this fondness that I want to do everything I can to ensure that any reported issue is clearly identified and backed up so as to maximize the chances that action will occur. And saying that, hearing from everyone, whether they’ve encountered the issue or not, is meaningful as the prevalence of an issue (i.e. is it affecting all/most people, some, just a few, or is it an edge case) can help to locate the cause of it.

okej my friend ^^

you can really drop the passive-aggressiveness anytime now.

My friend i have noting against you. Stop saying that please ^^

Now why am I having such a hard time believing that?

i promise my friend im sorry if you feelt that.

Issue persists, Why is so hard to believe that MMR system has bugs and I do not get my Win Points for portraits also?
Please instead of apologizing, promise that you will fix!
