Another posting about being unable to create/host custom games within the client. I’ve gone through the suggested steps numerous times now and no luck.
I tried contacting support but was just told to come here for answers. Still no help.
Anyone got any new ideas?
I see you uninstalled OneDrive. Strangely that doesn’t stop the syncing issues. Have you gone through the configuration steps to have it exclude syncing WC3R files?
I’ve tried, but it always copies the folder over, no matter what I do, and I cannot figure out how to root out the one drive folder. The folder that still exists after you uninstall onedrive. I forget what the error is atm though.
Did you see this article from OneDrive? If it’s still uninstalled, reinstall it and then try the configuration steps. Once it’s configured, then go through all the map/game purging steps again.
Yep, tried all of that again and still not working. Is it possible there’s some weird port that is being blocked or something? I mean, I can join custom games all day, just not host one so that seems unlikely too.
Did you have Warcraft 3 installed before Reforged and did you remove it from your Computer before installing Reforged? I had the same Problem, uninstalled everything and deleted all the folders just to be safe before reinstalling and now it works for me.
i had the same problem today and it turned out it was windows that thought warcraft iii.exe was a virus and had blocked acces to my documents folder.
i allowed the app and now it works again.
… thought i also lost all campaign progress for a few min.
Yeah I did, but I cleaned everything out a while ago. :-/

I have windows 10…might need more help than that lol
