Ok so let me get this straight, Blizzard releases FK for Warcraft 3 as a PAID DLC and not a free update, along with this new DLC comes a required patch which then made some changes that apparently broke my favourite custom games to some capacity?
I have been playing Warcraft 3 since RoC and the custom games is what keeps me coming back, when reforged came out there was a lot of different custom games that took some damage but most game modes still worked and there were plenty of people that came back and updated their game modes so they could run on reforged.
Now with the FK update almost every custom game mode that i CHERISH and exclusively have WC3 for is broken and I highly doubt that the people who made those game modes even work on them anymore considering the last updates were YEARS ago…
Custom hero survival: now kicks the host every time the game starts so you can’t play it unless someone else sacrifices themselves to host the game for the rest. (You also get logged out of battle net on warcraft 3 in this process)
A lot of skills have been butchered as they don’t scale above lvl 4 anymore for some reason? Duration on summons go to 0 seconds after you skill it up beyond 4 and god knows how many other abilities are ruptured.
Pumpkin TD: Is missing models on certain towers making them unselectable which essentially means you permanently lose whichever slot a tower with a missing model is built on. It makes the game mode unplayable.
I haven’t tried Survival Chaos and Hero of the Empire yet but considering how awful it’s been going with the other mods I can assume they don’t work.
What the HELL is going on, blizzard time and time again you disappoint me. Why the hell does FK cost money in the first place, reforged was a disaster and force people to buy the re-buy the game and it was mandatory. Not to mention the removal of LAN??? Hello???
