Been getting back into custom games and when I make a custom ability none of the animations show up when testing. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Not sure what you mean. You mean you copied for instance shockwave spell, and pasted it to custom spells and change the damage done, mana cost etc. and now you want a unit to use a specific animation when casting your custom shockwave spell? If it is a custom model then the creator probably has listed the available animations on the website where you downloaded the model from. If it’s default blizzard model like paladin I cant find the animation names for paladin spells, but for mountain king storm bolt spell animation name is “spell,throw” which are two strings.
Another reason is maybe you wrote the animation wrong, a typo.
For a custom model I downloaded it was 3 strings to play a custom animation: “attack,upgrade,second” in the shockwave spell for my map which I guessed by looking at animation names on the website where I downloaded the custom model.
Maybe if you took a screenshot of what you mean it would help understand the issue.
All I’m doing is switching out animations for spells like missiles and area effects. I used to do this all the time before reforged with no issue. Now when I play the game when the ability is used there is zero animations and just damage is done to the target.
