So many of you know already about the gameinformer article, but what was brought to my attention is that they intend to add different genders, warcraft 3 as I’ve stated many other times is my most beloved game during my childhood, and to this date, but I’m not against progress, my particular opinion is that this is not needed(females have always been represented in the game!) , and feels like crossing that line of feeling like a new game but still is not something too destructive, so I’m not against it, but I do have some request/opinions in that regard.

What the post says rather than we gonna include female and male versions of heroes, is “we gonna add more females” , I hope this is not the case, and if you plan on adding females, you do so with males, that’s equality.

You also mentioned it would feel more realistic to add female versions, and this would be half the truth, I hope you add female as long as it makes sense, and you can always take the Witcher’s approach on this, they took some desition based on the time the story is being told, and they still got game of the year.
2.1 while I’d love to see some female, archmage, paladín, and blood mage in skirmish, the games looks like it’s settle in some medieval time, so it would not make sense to have female militia in the humans army, (talking specifically about footmen, knights, dwarf sharpshooters, gryphons), it would make more sense for orcs which already are stated within the lore to fight beside female orcs.
2.2 gender is related to sex, sex is related to procreation, so NO Sex is not Canon when it comes to demons, excepting for the unique case of the succubus and incubus, demons do not need to procreate and for that reason are genderless, so that’s a big NO For female dreadlords, female pitlords, ect. Same goes to ghouls and abominations that again were not created for procreation doesn’t make sense to have a gender, so within the undead it would only make sense, female death knights, female criplords (if you are into that), female lich (again if you’re into that! ).
2.3 night elves could use more female representation, skirmishes are my favorite mode in warcraft 3 and as the game scales, archers and hunters render useless so a typical end game night elf army does not include many females, maybe excepting warden and priestess heroes and dryads, I’d love to see female druids of the claw, and talon! (by the same logic of undead, there shouldn’t be female mountain giants.)
2.4 there shouldn’t be priest of the moon or warden male version that’s obvious, although a dryad version of the groove keeper would be interesting, since dryads are daughter of cenarius wouldn’t be too crazy that some of them had the same powers.

I’d love to see male versions of the undead archer!

Please Blizz make female catapults happen!

Probably the most important point of the post, keep the identity of each army, going back to my first statement, there has always been female representation within the game, adding female versions of units, would rob the identity of night elves, that have always stoop out as an Amazon like army, and since they are my favorite race to play with I would hate to see them getting rob of their identity.
