I previously posted that “Combat - Animation Backswing point” and “Combat - Animation Damage point” are different between Attack 1 and Attack 2 for tavern heroes.
In object editor the settings “Combat - Attack 1” and “Combat - Attack 2” are actually worse than I thought for tavern heroes.
For example beastmaster has 0.5 seconds extra delay for animation damage point when he attacks air compared to ground which needs to be fixed (Rexxar has the correct setting for it but beastmaster does not) . For instance firelord has slower attack speed when he attacks air (Attack 2 orb) compared to attacking ground by 0.33 seconds. Tavern heroes have different settings between “Combat - Attack 1” and “Combat - Attack 2” while the human, orc, undead and night elf heroes were previously fixed (for instance Blizzard previously fixed paladin’s “Combat - Attack 2” (orb air attack speed)).
The other thing is that melee heroes have “Combat - Attack 1 - Projectile art” set to some missile while they should have it set to “None”. For instance Tinker has brewmaster missile even though he is a melee hero. Same with for instance Warden she also has a projectile even though she is a melee hero. It’s very odd that the projectile art, arc and speed of Combat - Attack 2 (air) is set in the Combat - Attack 1 (melee/ground) settings. Maybe Combat - Attack 2 is only for orb but then if a melee hero like alchemist can attack both ground and air then all his air attack settings should be set in Combat - Attack 2 instead of Combat - Attack 1. Currently defies logic.
If you look at the settings of dreadlord his Combat - Attack 1 and Combat - Attack 2 are correctly set with same values and very well optimized with no unnecessary projectile settings.
I have previously posted a lot of issues regarding current settings of units and items in object editor.
