Censorship for Harpies? And what about a male version?

Ever stood still for just a second and think about how harpies reproduce? I mean, they build nests and probably lay similarly sized eggs to an ostrich egg, but how do they fertilize them? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Are we really just supposed to assume Naz’grel would ensnare them, trying to “Save the Caravans”

Will we see male Harpies in Reforged? If so, please give the male ones at least something minimalistic like a tan cloth.

Feel free to discuss.

As far as I understand there are no male harpies, they kidnap men of other races to breed with.
There was a quest surrounding it back in Wotlk where you had to rescue men who had been kidnapped.

W-wait, wut?

They kidnap men, fly them to their nests and force them to sex?

B-but, how did they reproduce then before Orcs and Humans came to Kalimdor?

Quilboar?
Centaur??!
Tauren!?!!//11/?!1

It’s actually GFD according to some.

Others will claim there’s nothing gentle about kidnapping and forcing.

Oh my god, imagine a harpy humping a Tauren, jeesz!

WTF Blizzard!?

First your writers come up with raping a dragon lady by orcs in some vulcanic mountain for 10-20 whole years and now Harpies abducting men to have sex with!?

What’s next?! A Night Elf getting humped by a ffing Deer?! Oh wait… Dryads… Centaur… Mok’Nathal…

Warcraft is full of this stuff lol.
Most people probably just don’t pay attention because they don’t read quests or the in-game lore books etc.

Don’t tell me you’re just finding out about it. I know all your tricks, Zeratul.

Such as certain in-game novels.

But what about Succubus? Do we just have to assume that they uhh… Oh god… why?

Hump with other demons, Felhounds, maybe even the warlocks that summon them?

Please tell me there’s at least a few instances of male succubi

The male counter-part is called ‘’ Incubus ‘’.
I don’t think that having relations with a Succubus or Incubus is a very good idea, lol. Read up on some lore surrounding them from folklore and what they do, they only use sex to lure people in.

To relieve your pressure, I must inform you that Steiner Dreadlords don’t have a female gender either (if you discount the Jaina skin in HotS).

Who doesn’t?

At least for Dreadlords I can somewhat imagine them reproducing via at least some kind of ritual with demonic magics or something, for other beings of flesh, not so much…

I do wonder though, what creatures did harpies abduct before Humans and Orcs travelled to Kalimdor? … druids of talon?

Imagination, life is your creation Š

My question, however, would be how a society reproduces if it has females in the military xDD (please, no ban).

Females can function fine as part of the military, just look at SC2, medics and medivacs are useful

But what’s up with the society??

Plus, SC2 is transhumanistic.

I would still like an answer to this btw.

I mean, there is this interesting quote from a harpy in WC3: “Come, sisters! It has been too long since we feasted on outlander flesh!” or something among those lines.

First of all “Too long” ? By all means, harpies aren’t immortal or anything, right? I guess they have lifespans up to like maybe 60 years max? How can they possibly posses knowledge of consuming outlanders?

Secondly, they say this when encountering Thrall and his Orcs/Trolls, so does this mean Orcs did travel to Kalimdor before?

Third, why would they prefer outlander flesh over indigenous creatures? Do Quilboar have tiny/spiky peens or something?

Outlander fever. (Wait, if you are overthinking a fairy tale-style quote this much, I’m giving you an idea - these Harpies must know that Orcs have come from… Outland!)

Nah, I just assume harpies fly across the sea during mating season, go to town in the east and just go on this extreme breeding frenzy for a few weeks a year.

Either that, or Quilboar have tiny (/possibly spiky?) peens

Harpies are actually crosses between Night Elves and birds who according to their legends betrayed Queen Azshara and were cursed as punishment.

Omg, the more I find out about them, the weirder it gets.

I’m starting to regret making this thread now lol.

I literally thought they were just limited with resources, so they only designed a female variant or some clean explanation like that. But it actually turns out the fanfics are more accurate than my sane assumptions.
